We Are The 22 goes to veterans in suicidal crisis at the time of crisis to conduct peer-to-peer interventions, veteran to veteran.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are unique in this arena. There are many organizations with "22" in their name and even more that focus on veteran suicide prevention or awareness. We Are The 22 is the only organization that puts on body armor, grabs a trauma kit (with NARCAN and tourniquet) and GO TO the veteran in suicidal crisis at the time of crisis.
